From left to right: Christmas 2005., 1994, 1995, 1998. It shows how much we've changed through the years but also showing how we've retained our distinct personalities.
When one is now nurse, the other a mother of two and the other, an MBA grad, we talk about plans and life as opposed to crushes, clothes, school activities or t.v shows
Character contributes to beauty. It fortifies a woman as her youth fades. A mode of conduct, a standard of courage, discipline, fortitude and integrity - truly makes a woman beautiful

Journaling: With the number of massage parlors and spas in Thailand, I would think that most, if not all thais can massage! It's just impossible for you to miss this treat there :)

journaling:
We visited doi suthep on new years day 2010- really a bad time as thais, in observance of their religion are required to visit at that time of the year.
But seeing the temple, located on top of a hill was wort fighting the crowd. It stands tall and shiny, overlooking all of Chiang Mai. Like most wonders, it was built with many big stories. One of which was about how the road going there was built through manual labor.
I dedicated my studio calico august kit to creating layouts for our 2009 Bangkok trip and a few others. The paper selection just matched the photos. Glad to have created 6 layouts out of it with very usable scrap papers left. Here they are!
Vacationing
Journaling:
This trip was my mom and I's second and krista's first time in Bangkok. But it was all our first time to see the tourist spots. We went to the Wat Traimit or the 5.5 ton gold buddha, the Wat Pho/ Reclining Buddha, enjoyed Bangkok's delicious street food and withstood the heat and the traffic. But as always Bangkok was fun!
We loved our hotel, the Baiyoke Sky, not only for its spectacular view but also for its abundant breakfast buffet.
During this trip, we wished we had more time to shop!
We were all different but we got along. The best things about these people was that they were real. Buddy was never hesitant to call mine and Tanya's attention whenever we acted immature; we always tried to offer our thoughts and what might be called sound advice. I miss those, I miss us. 5 years later, we re pretty much the same with a few improvements :)
christmas 2009
Journaling:
For the past 10 years or so, the Nakpils have been coming home to Dipolog to spend Christmas with us and our grandaparents. Though we missed many in the family, we nonethless kept the Christmas spirit. A sumptuous Christmas dinner was prepared and served at our house. The family of tito ick and tita bouger joined us. We heard midnight mass and opened gifts after.
